There isn't a day that goes by that we don't ask ourselves "why me" Why is all this happening to me? I take two positive steps forward and its like something negative happens and the rug gets pulled from under me! Why Me! What am I not doing to make this or that happen for me? I try to treat people right but I don't get that same kind of treatment back. Perhaps so much negativity is going on in your life that you have stopped thinking anything is going to happen for you....Your peace of mind, your joy is gone...perhaps bitterness and depression has become your companions....You may be angry about how your life is going and that anger is spewing out to various areas and at various people!
Well I am here to say to you, CHEER UP! God sees you and what you are going through! Perhaps you are saying to yourself "I am not into that God thing!" Well, I am here to tell you that it doesn't matter what you feel or think about God....It does not matter if you are saved or unsaved, YOU BELONG TO GOD! Psalms 100:3 tells you this, "Know this: God is God. He made us; we didn’t make him. We’re his people, his well-tended sheep." All throughout the Bible God speaks about us. There is nothing you and I go through that God isn't aware of.
Psalms 139:8 says, "If I went up to heaven, you would be there; if I lay down in the world of the dead, you would be there. So, whatever troubles, disappointments and whatever you are lacking in your life, God knows about it and can fix it according to His will, His plan for your life. As humans we try to fix and change things in our own strength instead of letting someone "who knows our end from the beginning..."..(Isaiah 46:10) Who has all power, wisdom and power to change our situations?" .
Matthew 28:18 says, “All power in heaven and on earth is given to me”
Matthew 6:25-27 says, “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? So if you keep failing and have not accomplished whatever from all your trying to fix things in your own strength, why not give Jesus Christ a try...What have you got to lose besides your worry and misery?!!
